UFC 244 results, recap, and link wrap-up: Masvidal filets Diaz, Till outpoints Gastelum

New, comment

It was a wild night of fights last Sat. night (Nov. 2, 2019) courtesy of the UFC 244 pay-per-view (PPV) event inside Madison Square Garden in New York City. That’s where Jorge Masvidal was crowned “Baddest Mother Fucker” in all of mixed martial arts (MMA).

With a little help from the cageside physician.

But not long before “Gamebred” sliced and diced Nate Diaz, Darren Till made his successful debut at middleweight, outlasting top contender Kelvin Gastelum after three rounds of somewhat tepid action. Derrick Lewis also won his fight on the judges’ scorecards, as did Stephen Thompson.

Kevin Lee, however, straight up murdered Gregor Gillespie.

With so much to talk about in the aftermath of each fight, it’s understandable if you missed some of the top headlines from UFC 244. But no worries, we have them listed below in a convenient link wrap-up that covers most, if not all of the major talking points. Plus, we’ve also got some of the key highlights from all the lights-out finishes. If you just want the quick text updates, head over to our live results and play-by-play thread here.
