Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight Darren Till has (finally) arrived in New York City after a long and arduous ordeal with the people responsible for approving his travel visa. That was step one of this equation.
Step two is making weight.
Till didn’t seem too bothered by the delay, which caused him to miss his open workout, as well as the UFC 244 media day, as we inch closer to his Kelvin Gastelum co-main event this Sat. night (Nov. 2, 2019) inside Madison Square Garden.
“The bad motherfucker arrives when he wants to fucking arrive,” Till wrote on social media, sticking with the “BMF” theme of this weekend’s big shebang.
Fortunately for Gastelum, and perhaps unfortunately for the weight-cutting Jared Cannonier, the co-main event is likely to remain intact as Till only has to cut down to 185 pounds after abandoning the welterweight division earlier this year.
We’ll find out tomorrow morning.
