As we inch closer to fight night, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will do everything in its power to convince you, the frugal fan, to purchase the UFC 226 pay-per-view (PPV) event on Saturday (July 7, 2018), which takes place inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The means to that end?
Trotting out the top two fights on the main card, which underwent some changes earlier today after Max Holloway fell ill. No worries, it still packs plenty of fireworks this weekend in “Sin City” and today’s press conference (watch it here) helped cement that claim.
Not long after Francis Ngannou and Derrick Lewis collide for the right to stay alive in the 265-pound title chase, the king of the division, Stipe Miocic, will face off against light heavyweight challenger and former undefeated heavyweight Daniel Cormier.
Watch them face off above and below.
MMAmania.com will deliver LIVE round-by-round, blow-by-blow coverage of the entire UFC 226 fight card on fight night (click here), starting with the Fight Pass “Prelims” matches online, which are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. ET, then the remaining undercard balance on FOX Sports 1 at 8 p.m. ET, before the PPV main card start time at 10 p.m. ET.
