Daniel Cormier returns to late night TV with both UFC belts after breaking ‘Conan Curse’

Not even the mighty “Conan Curse” could keep Daniel Cormier from his destiny.

The reigning UFC light heavyweight champion returned to late night television on Tuesday — with the heavyweight strap in tow — to celebrate his big win over Stipe Miocic in the UFC 226 pay-per-view (PPV) main event last weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada (watch it again here).

There was some concern beforehand that his pre-fight visit to the Conan O’Brien show would result in defeat. After all, the “Conan Curse” has claimed the likes of Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor, just to name a few.

“When I got to the back, the UFC PR came over and they said, ‘Great job, things are gonna get crazy.’ I said, ‘Nothing’s crazier than the fact that I just won this fight, even though I went to Conan.”

With Conan out of the way, I guess that just leaves us with the Frank Mir curse?
