Rising lightweight prospect Davi Ramos looked even more dominant earlier tonight (Sat., May 12, 2018) at UFC 224 from inside Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, when he bulled through Nick Hein and finished the German via first-round rear-naked choke.
While Hein leveled Ramos early with a hard left hook, he didn’t have much for him after that. The Brazilian was quick in the grappling exchanges and nearly finished the fight via kimura. Hein got out of danger before Ramos reversed positioning and locked in a tight rear-naked choke.

With this performance, Ramos locks down his second-straight win at 155 pounds and proves that he’s a name to watch out for at lightweight. The 31-year-old Brazilian will have to expand on his striking skills moving forward, but his grappling abilities could be good enough to test the top 10 down the line.
