Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently tied a ribbon around its UFC 222 pay-per-view (PPV) event, which took place last Saturday evening (March 3, 2018) inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This night belonged to both favorites and underdogs.
UFC 222 saw women’s featherweight deity Cris Cyborg smash and trash Invicta FC import Yana Kunitskaya in the championship headliner, as expected. In the 145-pound co-main event, Brian Ortega upset the division’s apple cart by planting top title contender Frankie Edgar.
