The action arrived in waves last night (Sat., Feb. 10, 2018) at UFC 221 live on pay-per-view (PPV) from inside Perth Arena in Perth, Australia, as former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold was absolutely crushed by Cuban powerhouse Yoel Romero via third-round knockout.

In addition to the PPV headliner, Curtis Blaydes smothered heavyweight knockout artist Mark Hunt in a one-sided decision, Tai Tuivasa demolished Cyril Asker via first-round TKO, Tyson Pedro pulled off a spectacular kimura finish over Saparbek Safarov, former professional kickboxer Israel Adesanya made good on his UFC debut with a second-round TKO finish, Jussier Formiga pulled off a spinning back fist into a guillotine choke over flyweight contender Ben Nguyen, and Jake Matthews fought through an intentional eye gouge to defeat Li Jingliang in a welterweight barn burner.
