Cowboy Cerrone sends stern warning to mouthy Conor McGregor: Don’t talk about my kid or my grandma

Stream all of “McGregor vs. Cowboy”-led fights LIVE from Las Vegas RIGHT HERE — don’t miss a single second of face-punching action!

Donald Cerrone expects Conor McGregor to unleash hell at the upcoming UFC 246 pre-fight press conference, because talking trash and playing psychological games with his opponents is what “Notorious” does best.

He’s even better than Muhammad Ali, according to this aging fanboy.

That’s why “Cowboy” isn’t getting too worked up about the Irish word play that awaits him next week in Las Vegas, but also cautions there are some lines that cannot be crossed — unless McGregor wants to get his ass whooped in the hotel lobby.

“He’s the best at it,” Cerrone told MMA Fighting. “The thing is, you’d really have to go low, talk about my grandma or my kid and then it would put it on another level. You understand what I’m saying? Then I’ll just come fuck you up in the lobby type shit. I don’t think it’s ever going to go that way. He understands that. We’re fighting, he can talk about that all he wants, but don’t low blow.”

McGregor has no problem going after family members for no other reason than to make his opponents fight emotionally as opposed to tactically. His most recent efforts included the wife of Khabib Nurmagomedov and the son of “Eagle” manager Ali Abdelaziz.

There was also talk of red panties, but that pales in comparison.

Cerrone and McGregor will collide in the UFC 246 pay-per-view (PPV) main event a week from Sat. night (Jan. 18, 2020) in a welterweight battle set for T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. See the entire UFC 246 fight card and line up by clicking here.

I will not let him get in my head... unless....

(proceeds to let him know what works to get in his head)

sometimes Connor make brilliant work on his trash talk, sometimes their counterparts are just not that bright…

So you think Cowboy is "not that bright" for saying keep family out of the trash talk?

Is that what you’re saying?
It’s not a secret to know that talking about someone’s family will rile up a person.

yep, at least in that instance

if he is looking to keep his calm, telling him what does get to his nerves is indeed not bright…
example:
"you can’t make me feel fear, I fear nothing… unless you show me spiders, that terrifies me"
you see?

I think some of the keys to trash talking is that what you consider a "low blow" might not be a low blow for everybody, specially if delivered correctly…

and no, the key here is he do not get rile up when there is trash talk of his family, he mentioned specifically his kid and his grandma..

lastly… Connor might not use any trash talk or keep it classy… but then again we are talking of a rich trained fighter guy who sucker punched an old man in a bar for not drinking his whiskey… so there is that…

I totally agree with this meh

happy we got to this common ground…

So you’re backing out of your position

And all it took was a "meh?"

You came out of the gates hung ho about how it’s not smart to let Conor know… blah blah blah.

The truth is Cowboy is respected and Coner has no intention to trash talk him… thus the "meh"

Where did I say it was not smart?

WTF are you talking about?
Lol get grip kid.

Reply fail

Hit the up button from my comment. I was replying to chanate.

Don’t bite the hand that feed ye, kid

Hahaha

Oops, my bad bro.

naah

I still think is not smart to say you wont be bothered, then proceed to say what indeed will bother you,

Clearly Mudvayne1986 made his point and replied me with "meh", which I think it meant he still do not agree with me but this topic is not worth to reply more than 3 letters to what I said; I was thinking what to respond to that… but I do not think more can be said so while thinking I found myself saying out loud "meh", and then thought.. wow so guess I agree…hence my response…

And is not about Cowboy is respected or not, is about entertainment and making him fight emotional, as I said maybe he keep it classy, but I do not think will be about respect, that dude do not respect the elderly, religions, the law… there is still pending some criminal charges that if true then he didn’t respect women too… so no, trash talk or not, nothing suggest respect is involved in the assessment.

I'd immediately go on to discuss how Danger wears a special helmet...

Conor is a prick. There’s no lows he won’t go to. Proof, look at his life outside fighting. Cerrone sounds naive af.

Not true Conor is very respectful

that was a very respectful sucker punch to an old guy in a pub for refusing a glass of shitty whiskey

And throwing the trolley at that aggressive bus

1) 50 yr old likely to live to 90 yrs old, half punch more like a slap,

2) it’s in Ireland everybody acts like that, not that crazy to see
3) Trolley sold more tickets, it is what it is…

Everyone in Ireland slaps drunk 50yr old men in bars?

Sweet.

When you're rationalizing a pro fighter assaulting an old man in a bar, you're too far gone.

Definitely a waste to engage that one.

It's the accent, gets RJ everytime and he loses his sense abilities

gotcha... So it was a respectful slap.

much hespect
