Bill Burr defends his wife after middle finger incident with Donald Trump goes viral at UFC 295

Burr’s wife was caught on camera throwing double middle fingers at the former U.S. president, leading to a storm of controversy online.

Bill Burr is refusing to take any heat over his wife, Nia Renee, Hill throwing double middle fingers at former President of the United States, Donald Trump, during UFC 295 earlier this month (see it here).

Burr was one of several dozen celebrities sitting cageside during the big Madison Square Garden event in New York City. Also there: Trump, who was personally ushered to his front-row seat by UFC CEO, Dana White.

Fans at the event cheered Trump, who has become a semi-regular attendee at major UFC pay-per-view (PPV) events.

But, the love for “The Donald” was not quite unanimous. Following the event, footage emerged on social media showing Burr’s wife throwing the double bird salute Trump’s way. Trump didn’t notice, and nothing came of it ... other than a hailstorm of controversy on X (formerly Twitter).

Trump fans, unsurprisingly, railed on Burr and said some not-so-nice things about his significant other.

Now, Burr is responding to the incident in typical fashion: by blasting his haters right back.

“It’s like those Trump guys,” he said on The Rich Eisen Show. “They’re always going, ‘Oh, you snowflakes, f— your feelings’ and all of that. And then you make fun of Trump and they’re like ‘Oh my God, that’s so disrespectful!’

“You’re saying ‘F— Joe Biden!’” he continued. “You can’t have it both ways ... If you’re doing it too, quit your crying.”

He also directly defended his wife from all the hate she was receiving online.

“I love my wife, you know where you stand with her,” Burr said. “The guy walked in the arena. Everybody cheered. She gave him the finger, nobody got arrested. That’s why this country’s great. Everybody expressed themselves. Can we all be adults?

“I don’t know about you, but I came there to see the fights,” he concluded. “I didn’t know I was going to the Republican National Convention.”

Tomayto, tomahto.
