Larry Pepe, a good friend of the Mania family and the MMA expert responsible for demystifying the TRT craze several years back, recently released "The Social Disaster" on both paperback and kindle. If you were a fan of The Social Dilemma on Netflix you'll probably dig this book, which goes a lot more in depth and has the latest data on the dangerous effects of social media consumption.
Every day, hundreds of millions of people log on to social media, unaware of the harmful side effects lurking on the other side of the screen. Most of them have no idea that industry executives and insiders have admitted that these platforms are designed to psychologically manipulate them, get them hooked and monopolize their time.
It's a good read ... and a little frightening. I don't get a commission or kickback on this book, just sharing because I enjoy the subject matter.
