Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sat., Sept. 18, 2021, with an exciting match up in the Light Heavyweight division, as No. 6-ranked contender, Anthony Smith, faces off with No. 11-seeded contemporary, Ryan Spann. In UFC Vegas 37’s co-main event, fellow 205-pound veterans Ion Cutelaba and Devin Clark aim to steal the show.

Don’t miss a single second of face-punching action!

This was a wild fight from the opening bell. Both fighters found a home for power strikes, kicks, and heavy attacks in the clinch. Jourdain gained some serious momentum in Round 2 with a quick knockdown before Erosa stole it back in the third. After two takedowns Erosa was able to lock in a slick D’Arce choke that forced Jourdain to fight the hands. Erosa continued to squeeze and “Air” was left to tap.

Erosa was coming off a TKO loss to Seung Woo Choi back in June so he needed to provide some fireworks in his return this weekend. Luckily for Erosa, he was able to stomach all of Jourdain’s short punches and crisp combinations to score another short-notice victory inside of the Octagon.
