Jake Paul reacts to Tyron Woodley’s tattoo: He ‘got on a call with his accountant’

Jake Paul suggest money woes are to thank for Tyron Woodley’s latest tattoo.

Jake Paul has a theory about Tyron Woodley’s new tattoo.

Paul vs. Woodley (watch highlights) headlined a Showtime Boxing pay-per-view (PPV) event inside Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio, on Sun., Aug. 29, 2021. The fight had the caveat (details here) that the loser would get a tattoo with the winner’s name reading, “I love [the winner].” Paul won via split decision and it appears Woodley has followed through with the wager.

The former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Welterweight champion shared a photo of the tattoo on Monday, reading “I love Jake Paul” inked on the inside of his middle finger.

Paul issued the following statement on social media in response to Woodley’s tattoo:

“1) Tyron got the wire from the fight. 2) Tyron bought a used Bentley. 3) Tyron got on a call with his accountant. 4) His accountant told him how much money he had to pay in taxes. 5) Tyron got the tattoo.”

In the immediate aftermath of Paul vs. Woodley, Paul offered his opponent a rematch should the mixed martial artist follow through with the bet. The YouTuber-turned professional boxer appears to suggest that T-Wood got the tattoo in desperation.
