Featherweight contender Jonathan Pearce captured the biggest win of his career earlier tonight (Sat., Sept. 25, 2021) at UFC 266 live on ESPN+ PPV from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, as “JSP” stopped Omar Morales via second-round submission (rear-naked choke).
Morales may have landed a few crisp right hands early, but Pearce ate them and kept plodding forward for multiple takedowns. Morales did pretty well to defend early before tiring in the second round. That’s when Pearce took the back, sunk in his hooks, and secured the submission finish.
