Video: UFC 266 staredowns with Nick Diaz vs Robbie Lawler and more at pre-fight press conference

The stars of UFC 266 face off ahead of Saturday’s pay-per-view (PPV) event.

Nick Diaz and Robbie Lawler came face-to-face at the UFC 266 pre-fight press conference staredowns, but it was Alex Volkanovski and Brian Ortega who had the really heated face-off.

UFC 266 takes place this weekend (Sept. 25, 2021) inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on ESPN+ pay-per-view (PPV). The combatants for the following three fights: Alex Volkanovski vs. Brian Ortega, Valentina Shevchenko vs. Lauren Murphy, and Diaz vs. Lawler, joined Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President, Dana White, for Thursday’s presser.

BLOCKBUSTER BANTAMWEIGHT BATTLE! Diaz and Lawler will run things back 17 years after their first fight. The Stockton native won their first fight via knockout at 1:31 of round two (watch full fight here), improving to 9-2 as a professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter. Lawler dropped to 8-2 as a result of the outcome; however, both men were destined for greater things.
