Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is shoving Paddy Pimblett right down our collective throats ahead of the Liverpool native’s Octagon debut this Sat. night (Sept. 4, 2021) at APEX in Las Vegas, and “The Baddy” better deliver something spectacular after all this insufferable hype.

HIGH STAKES LIGHTWEIGHT MATCHUP! Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to UFC APEX on Sat., Sept. 23, 2023, with a high stakes 155-pound showdown as No. 6-ranked contender, Rafael Fiziev, takes on No. 7-seeded Mateusz Gamrot. In UFC Vegas 79’s co-main event, No. 12-ranked Featherweight contender, Bryce Mitchell, steps back into the Octagon against No. 13-seeded Dan Ige.

“It was always meant to be, wasn’t it?” Pimblett told MMA Junkie during Wednesday’s media day. “Everyone knew I’d eventually end up being here so it wasn’t a question of ‘if’ I was going to be in the UFC – it was ‘when.’ The time has finally arrived. I’m here and I’m here to make a statement and let everyone know who the boy is.”

The 26 year-old Pimblett (16-3) is coming off back-to-back finishes over Decky Dalton and Davide Martinez under the Cage Warriors Fighting Championship banner across the pond, where “The Baddy” held the promotion’s 145-pound title.
