Former UFC champion Vitor Belfort made quick work of boxing legend Evander Holyfield earlier tonight (Sat., Sept. 11, 2021) live on FITE TV pay-per-view (PPV) from inside Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla., as “Phenom” stopped Holyfield in the very first round.

Holyfield tried to paw his jab in the early going but his efforts were noticeably labored. It didn’t come as a surprise considering Holyfield’s media workout earlier this week, but fight fans were hoping for more. Belfort waited to pounce and scored a significant knockdown with a nice uppercut. Holyfield returned to his feet and the former UFC fighter clobbered him until the referee waved it off.
