Former boxing champion Oscar De La Hoya was forced to withdraw from his Vitor Belfort headliner under the Triller banner, previously scheduled for Sept. 11 in Los Angeles, Calif., after “The Golden Boy” was hospitalized with COVID-19.

But that won’t save him from a “Phenom”-enal beatdown.

Don’t miss a single second of face-punching action!

“I’m going after you, Oscar, I want to melt that gold pot,” Belfort told MMA Junkie. “I just hope he’s good. I hope he’s healthy. That’s my No. 1 concern – his life. We’re in this pandemic and it’s crazy, but that’s the fight to make. We’re going to have to make it. I think Triller is going to make it happen by the end of the year. It’s not (over). The fans want that fight so it’s going to happen.”

Belfort’s team still questions the legitimacy of the illness.

Stepping in for De La Hoya is former heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield, though his age and inactivity forced Triller to relocate the event to Hollywood, Fla., along with former UFC champions Anderson Silva and Tito Ortiz.
