Former UFC strawweight champion Jessica Andrade has joined the ever-growing list of MMA fighters who now rely on OnlyFans as their primary source of income. Probably because UFC fighters, on average, don’t earn enough to live comfortably.
Some of them even lose money to pursue their dreams.
“I paid off my car and six or seven months of rent [in Las Vegas] in advance,” Andrade told MMA Fighting. “I haven’t even used the money of my last fight’s purse. I was also able to pay my bills in Brazil, help my family and help Fernanda’s family with OnlyFans’ money. It’s nice when you check your account and see the money is still there. You’re like, ‘My God, I’m buying a lot of stuff on Amazon, my house is like a market right now, and the account remains the same.’”
Andrade, who turns 30 in just a few weeks, took the plunge after a shady acquaintance leaked some of her nude pics online. So if the public is going to see “Bate Estaca” in her birthday suit, she may as well get paid for it.
“I’m 30 and my body won’t look pretty for the rest of my life, so we have to enjoy it while it’s nice,” Andrade continued. “No one will want to see it later. Better use it now, than when it’s gone. People think OnlyFans is just porn, but it’s not only that. It’s a platform to show your daily life, your fights, the things you do. I’m very happy with OnlyFans.“
Andrade (21-9) is coming off a technical knockout loss to Valentina Shevchenko and will look to bounce back against flyweight bruiser Cynthia Calvillo as part of the UFC 266 pay-per-view (PPV) event later this month in “Sin City.”
