Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor sized each other up one last time at Friday’s ceremonial weigh-in, prior to meeting inside the Octagon at UFC 264, which takes place inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, tomorrow night (Sat., July 10, 2021) and streams via ESPN+ pay-per-view (PPV).
A heated McGregor and a calm, collected Poirier engaged in one final face-off/staredown prior to their trilogy fight. Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President, Dana White, was very cautious following McGregor’s attempt to kick Poirier at Thursday’s pre-fight press conference.
Amusingly, White kept stepping forward with his leg to check any attempted leg strikes.
UFC 264 is headlined by the Lightweight trilogy between McGregor and Poirier. Prior to the highly-anticipated rubber match, Stephen Thompson and Gilbert Burns throw hands for a spot in the Welterweight title chase.
