Coach Khabib Nurmagomedov continues to prosper in his post-fight career as a coach with another one of his protégés making a splash in his Bellator MMA debut. Gadzhi Rabadanov took on Daniel Carey on the undercard of the Bellator 263 event in Los Angeles, Calif.
For the first four minutes of the opening round, Rabadanov showed poise, timing his shots well and landing perfect counters. With a little over a minute left in the round, Carey threw a lazy leg kick, prompting Rabadanov to counter with an laser-like left hook that dropped him. A few follow up shots later and Rabadanov was the owner of a first round knockout win. With the finish, Rabadanov earns the eleventh finish of his career and eight victory in last nine fights.
