While Zabit Magomedsharipov’s mixed martial arts (MMA) career is currently in limbo, his younger brother, Khasan, is starting his Bellator MMA run off on the right foot. The 20-year old made his promotional debut earlier tonight (July 31, 2021) at Bellator 263 against Jonathan Quiroz, and it was a dominant performance to say the least.
Magomedsharipov started off hot, knocking down Quiroz in the first round to put him on notice. In round two, he once again leveled his foe before ultimately taking his back and laying down some ground-and-pound to score a second round finish.

With the win, Magomedsharipov improves to 6-0 and puts the Featherweight division on notice, letting them know there is a new contender in town. After barely breaking a sweat in an explosive Bellator debut, he could be in line for a quick turnaround if the opportunity presents itself.
