Welterweight prospect Jared Gooden banked a scary knockout finish earlier tonight (Sat., July 31, 2021) at UFC Vegas 33 live on ESPN/ESPN+ from inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, when “Nite Train” stopped Niklas Stolze with one punch just 68 seconds into the first round.
Gooden enjoyed an immediate power advantage and started to control the action. Stolze had some length but that didn’t stop “Nite Train” from punching his way through and landing a brutal right hand that dropped Stolze. Stolze was already toast when Gooden landed one more punch as the referee came in.

This was a much needed win for Gooden after losing his first two Octagon appearances. The 27-year-old prospect has hands for days and just hasn’t hasn’t been able to land them so it’s good to see his fortune change tonight at UFC Vegas 33. Gooden should be able to land another quick fight before year’s end and display his punching power once more.
