So, our Mania MoneyPool Season 2: Electric Boogaloo is in the books! With the exception of a few deadbeats who shall remain nameless for now, all went smoothly, and we seem to doing well on the FightPicks app. Congratulations to the following:
- First Place: Pokermonk ($300)
- Second Place: The Pride ($150)
- Third Place: Taiter ($75)
Congrats to Pokermonk, a first time MMP winner!!!!! A phenomenal accomplishment considering the number of sharks we have in this pool. All winners have been paid in full. As for our weekly event winners, the following are paid in full for Season 3:
- Snax (won two events)
- The Pride
Now, the time has come again to start Mania MoneyPool 2.0 Season 3: Joben’s Revenge, so let's get to it! If you were in this previous season, you’ve already been invited to this new Season and you need to accept your invitation. Just click on the "Leagues" icon at the bottom, and then look to the upper right hand corner where you should have an invitation to join Mania Money Pool 3: Joben’s Revenge. Just click accept and you’re all set. PLEASE NOTE: THE FIRST EVENT OF THIS NEW SEASON IS THIS SATURDAY, JULY 24TH!!! We will need to get on this quickly, and for those of you that want to recruit members, we have quite a few lames that just crapped out last season and stopped making picks, so we believe there will be a bunch of drops from last season.
Now, for anyone else interested, let's get into some copy + paste!
Info on how to join from the previous post for any newcomers:
Want in? Make an account on the app above and tell me your screen name. Ideally, make a username similar to your MMAmania one for simplicity's sake. Then, email the treasurer: email@example.com for instructions on how to pay.
If you've bought into the money pool previously, the system is the same, just don't speak about it on here.
All is intended to be business as usual. $20 buys you into the season, which will last for 10 UFC events. There is no hot bout on the new system, and there's no differentiation between split and unanimous decisions. Points are awarded for picking the correct winner, correct round, and correct method -- as well as a bonus for getting everything right.
If you know your stuff -- or even if you don't -- give it a shot!
