The bookies had Amanda Lemos a huge -610 favorite against +410 underdog Montserrat Conejo ahead of UFC Vegas 31, which took place tonight (Sat., July 17, 2021) inside UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, and it became very apparent why just seconds into their fight.
And then a few seconds after that? A finish: Lemos via technical knockout just 35 seconds into the first round.
Conejo is no stranger to being an odds dog and came out scrappy, chasing Lemos across the cage. But between Lemos’ use of length, her movement and precision, Conejo didn’t stand a chance. Lemos hit Conejo clean coming in, staggering her. A follow up combination had Conejo rolling on the canvas and the ref stopping things.
