Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will hold a special pre-fight media day today for the upcoming UFC Vegas 31: “Makhachev vs. Moises” mixed martial arts (MMA) event, scheduled for this Sat. night (July 17, 2021) inside APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Fighters scheduled to appear include:
Islam Makhachev–No. 9 UFC lightweight
Thiago Moises–No. 14 UFC lightweight
Marion Reneau–No. 12 UFC women’s bantamweight
Miesha Tate–UFC women’s bantamweight
Jeremy Stephens–UFC lightweightMateusz Gamrot–UFC lightweight
Rodolfo Vieira–UFC bantamweight
Dustin Stoltzfus–UFC bantamweight
Gabriel Benitez –UFC featherweightB
Billy Quarantillo –UFC featherweight
Assuming we don’t have any surprise COVID cancellations or weigh-in fails, Islam Makhachev and Thiago Moises will headline the lightweight main event. Prior to that five-round showdown, bantamweight veterans Marion Reneau and Miesha Tate collide in 135-pound action.
