Floyd Mayweather always wears his TMT (The Money Team) hat for pre-fight staredowns — including this one — but was forced to leave the lid at his hotel after last week’s GOTCHA HAT! debacle in “The Sunshine State.”
Are the Paul brothers already in Mayweather’s head?
Mayweather will box Logan Paul under exhibition rules (see them here) this Sunday night (June 6, 2021) inside Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. To help promote the event, Showtime Sports held a special pre-fight media day complete with fighter staredowns.
Paul will hold a significant size advantage over Mayweather.
It’s unlikely to be enough when you consider the skill “Money” brings to the ring. Mayweather sports a 50-0 professional record after disposing of some of the best fighters in the world, so a few extra inches and a couple of extra pounds probably won’t make much difference.
If they do, it won’t matter since there are no judges and no winner to be declared.
Also putting in work this weekend in Miami are Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson (0-0) and Brian Maxwell (0-3), who will battle for six rounds for reasons not quite understood. In addition, Badou Jack (23-3-3, 13 KOs) faces late replacement Dervin Colina (15-0, 13 KOs) on the PPV main card.
