Sounds like Tyron Woodley is treating his combat sports career like the plot of Red Heat.

You killed my partner.
You killed my brother!

Not long after social media troll Jake Paul laid waste to Ben Askren, a longtime training partner of Woodley, “The Chosen One” stepped up to box the former Disney star for Showtime Sports in August.

Where brother Logan will watch in horror as Jake goes down in flames.

THE TRUTH!  International superstar and serial risk-taker, Jake “The Problem Child” Paul, will face the biggest challenge of his budding combat sports career when he takes on his first-ever professional boxer, Tommy “TNT” Fury, inside Diriyah Arena in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia, streaming live on ESPN pay-per-view (PPV). “Paul vs. Fury,” which will also feature WBC Cruiserweight kingpin, Ilunga Makabu, battling former WBC and WBA champion, Badou Jack, in the co-main event, special start time is slated for 2 p.m. ET, with a PPV price tag of $49.99.

Don’t miss a single second of face-punching action!

“I really don’t have smoke with his brother Logan but shit, after he sees what I do to his brother he might want to get the hands too,” Woodley told Michael Bisping on the Believe You Me podcast (transcribed by Jed Meshew).

Woodley refers to it as “robbing the bank twice.”

“At the end of the day, he’s gonna get beat up, he’s gonna get knocked out,” Woodley said. “Hopefully it’s not too bad because what’s happening is, his people are gassing him up that he can win. He accepted this fight and I was very surprised he accepted this fight. They’re gassing him up and they’re giving him that ‘You’ve got the power. He’s old. He ain’t won a fight a million years. You the younger, more hungry, he’s taking you lightly, you can beat him!’ They’re lying to this kid and they’re gonna get him fucked up. So what’s gonna happen is, I’m gonna beat him, I’m gonna knock him out, and hopefully it’s not too bad where he doesn’t want to do it again because I want to take the money again. I want to rob the bank twice. So that’s the plan.”

Woodley, who turned 39 just a few weeks back, parted ways with UFC after dropping four straight bouts. And it sounds like “The Chosen One” is counting on Team Paul to underestimate him on fight night, which will lead to part two of their completely unnecessary affair.

See you in August!
