Bellator MMA is continuing to trim its roster. Just a few weeks after releasing several fighters, including Roger Huerta (read details here), the Viacom-owned mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion has parted ways with another 15 fighters, according to a report from MMA Junkie.

Check out the complete list below:

  • Yannick Bahati
  • Mandy Bohm
  • Justin Burlinson
  • Claudio Conti
  • Ruben Crawford
  • Zach Freeman
  • Will Fleury
  • Constantin Gnusariev
  • Malin Hermansson
  • Jade Jorand
  • A.J. Mathews
  • Karl Moore
  • Pietro Penini
  • Giorgio Pietrini
  • Bobby Voelker

If most of those names don’t pop out at you, that’s because the majority of those combatants were a part of Bellator’s “European Series” roster. Naturally, the COVID-19 pandemic has taken a toll on the promotion as well, allowing Scott Coker and Co. to stage only four international events since Feb. 2020.

Bellator returns to action this Friday night (May 7, 2021) with Bellator 258, featuring a Bantamweight title fight between Juan Archuleta and Sergio Pettis. In the revamped co-main event, Anthony Johnson will face Jose Augusto (not Yoel Romero).
