UFC 263 poster drops for ‘Adesanya vs Vettori 2’ on June 12 in Glendale

New, 11 comments

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently finalized the Israel Adesanya vs. Marvin Vettori rematch for “The Last Stylebender’s” 185-pound title, a five-round headliner that tops the UFC 263 pay-per-view (PPV) card on Sat., June 12, 2021 inside Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona.

Now it has an official poster.

“I wanted to fight Rob (Whittaker) after I’d seen him with Kelvin (Gastelum),” Adesanya told his YouTube subscribers. “Marvin was like, ‘I want to go in October.’ Rob was like, ‘I want to go in September.’ I’m like, ‘Look, I’m going in June. Whoever wants it, step up,’ and yeah, the Italian stepped up, so kudos to him.”

Adesanya topped Vettori by way of split decision back in April 2018.

UFC 263 will also feature the championship flyweight rematch between Deiveson Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno. “Daico” retained his title in a majority draw over the “Assassin Baby” at UFC 256 last December in Las Vegas.
