UFC 262 Embedded, Ep. 1: Tony Ferguson takes Texas by storm

The top UFC lightweights in the world are rolling into Houston, Texas, to fight for supremacy in one of the toughest divisions in the combat sports world.

It’s UFC 262 fight week and you know what that means! It’s time for another week of UFC Embedded video blogs, taking you behind the scenes with the headliners of UFC 262 as they head to Houston, Texas, for their fights this weekend (Sat., May 10, 2021).

Michael Chandler gets some work in at his home gym in Florida and discusses the long path his mixed martial arts (MMA) career has taken and his sudden arrival on the verge of a UFC championship. Then, he’s off to an art shop to pick up a giant psychedelic frog painting. Because why not?

Meanwhile in Houston, Beneil Dariush lands earlier than most to settle into a routine and get ready for the fight of his life against Tony Ferguson. Dariush has been toiling away for the last three years racking up six wins in a row. Is it his time to take his place within the Top 5 at Lightweight?

Also arriving in Texas this episode: Tony Ferguson, who takes his team out for a 1 a.m. run around the fighter hotel. Because of course, “T-Ferg” does it champ style all day all night.
