Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is less than one month away from crowning a new lightweight champion, courtesy of the UFC 262 pay-per-view (PPV) main event between 155-pound submission specialist Charles Oliveira and former Bellator MMA champion Michael Chandler.
They’ll collide for the vacant strap on Sat., May 15, 2021, in front of a live crowd inside Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, a still-developing fight card that also features a welterweight co-main event between top 170-pound contender Leon Edwards and longtime fan favorite Nate Diaz.

Another important lightweight matchup joins the UFC 262 lineup as former interim champion Tony Ferguson collides with 155-pound veteran Beneil Dariush. In addition, Jack Hermansson looks to keep himself in the middleweight title conversation at the expense of 185-pound prospect Edmen Shahbazyan.
