It’s been more than four years since Khabib Nurmagomedov was forced to withdraw from his interim lightweight title fight against Tony Ferguson at UFC 209, which may or may not have been the result of too much tiramisu, but that hasn’t stopped “El Cucuy” from keeping the joke alive on Twitter.
The same way “The Shermanator” kept his gag running at American Pie parties.

Nurmagomedov, who retired from UFC back in Oct. 2020, was quick to respond.
You have a fight soon, your opponent is very tough and most underestimated in lightweight division, focus on him. I wish you and your family best, even though you look like a shit.

Ferguson insists Nurmagomedov retired to avoid fighting him.
Unfortunately for “El Cucuy,” who’s still promoting “Champ Shit Only,” he’s dropped back-to-back fights against Justin Gaethje and Charles Oliveira, the former of which kept him from flying with “The Eagle” at UFC 254.
The good news for Ferguson is that he can get back into the title hunt with a big performance against Beneil Dariush at the upcoming UFC 262 pay-per-view (PPV) event, scheduled for May 15, 2021 in Houston, Texas.
