Taking center stage was Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, who collides with current 205-pound kingpin, Jan Blachowicz, in a Light Heavyweight title fight. “The Last Stylebender” hopes to become the promotion’s latest champ-champ, while Blachowicz is in search of his first-ever title defense.
Also getting some media love were co-headliners Amanda Nunes and Megan Anderson, who will collide in a women’s Featherweight title fight, while Petr Yan and Aljamain Sterling finally got the chance to come face-to-face ahead of their Bantamweight title bout.
