Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will ask reigning heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic to once again defend his 265-pound strap against murderous power puncher Francis Ngannou, this time in the UFC 260 pay-per-view (PPV) main event on Sat. night (March 27, 2021) inside APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Before that titanic tilt gets underway, the promotion will ask both champion and challenger to take the stage to field questions from the mixed martial arts (MMA) media. If you want to hear from the rest of the UFC 260 fighters, including co-headliners Tyron Woodley and Vicente Luque, head over to Wednesday’s media day video replay right here.
The UFC 260 press conference gets underway LIVE at 5 p.m. ET in the embedded video above.
Miocic (20-3) dominated Ngannou (15-3) went they first went to war at UFC 220 roughly three years back (Jan. 2018), simply because “The Predator” — who built his career on early knockouts — had no answer for the champ’s wrestling-based attack.
Since they last met, Miocic went 2-1 in a trilogy opposite Daniel Cormier. As for Ngannou, he stumbled against Derrick Lewis his next time out before rediscovering his decapitating ways, laying waste to four straight opponents by violent KO.
