Aaron’s Pico’s return to action could be coming soon with a report from MMA Junkie revealing that the wrestling standout is in line to face Aiden Lee at the scheduled Bellator 257 event on April 16, 2021.
Pico is currently enjoying a three-fight win streak after dropping back-to-back fights in 2019. He was most recently seen taking out John de Jesus via crushing knockout at Bellator 252 in Nov. 2020 (recap here). All in all, Pico has earned a 7-3 record in his mixed martial arts (MMA) career (all with Bellator), with all of his victories coming by way of stoppage.
Lee, on the other hand, has won two straight inside the Bellator cage and was last seen defeating Jeremy Petley in Sept. 2020 in what was just his third fight with the Viacom-owned promotion.
Headlining the Bellator 257 event will be a title fight between 205-pound champion, Vadim Nemkov, taking on Phil Davis in the opening round of the Light Heavyweight Grand Prix. In the co-main event, Anthony Johnson and Yoel Romero face off in another Grand Prix match up, marking the promotional debuts for both men.
