A fight between two scorching hot Middleweight contenders has been booked for an upcoming Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) “Fight Night”-themed event on May 1, 2021, with the addition of Krzysztof Jotko versus Sean Strickland.
The fight — which still has no official location — will be the first of the year for both men. Jotko is currently enjoying a three-fight win streak after taking out Alen Amedovski, Marc-Andre Barriault and Eryk Anders. Prior to getting hot again, Jotko had suffered three straight defeats, though he still owns a respectable 9-4 mark inside the Octagon.
As for Strickland, he has also won three in row after defeating Nordine Taleb, Jack Marshman and Brendan Allen in consecutive bouts. Overall, he is 9-3 inside the Octagon in both the Welterweight and Middleweight divisions, good enough to earn him the No. 15 ranking at 185 pounds.
Predictions?
Headlining the ESPN+-streamed event will be a Light Heavyweight bout between former two-time title contender Dominick Reyes taking on Jiri Prochazka. Also on the card, Ion Cutelaba will face Devin Clark.
