Knockout! Watch Chris Daukaus batters Aleksei Oleinik in the first at UFC Vegas 19

Chris Daukaus stayed undefeated inside of the Octagon earlier tonight (Sat., Feb. 20, 2021) at UFC Vegas 19 live on ESPN+ from inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, when the rising prospect stopped heavyweight veteran Aleksei Oleinik with a beautiful first-round TKO (punches).

Daukaus came into this fight the favorite and it showed early. His hands were too quick for Oleinik to catch up and it forced “The Boa Constrictor” to tie Daukaus up along the cage. Once Daukaus was able to create space he started to land heavy shots on the feet. Oleinik backed up along the cage and covered up. Daukaus unloaded punches and the fight was eventually stopped.

Check out the highlights above courtesy of UFC/ESPN.

Daukaus has now won his first three UFC appearances by way of first-round knockout and has a good case to enter the heavyweight top 15 when the new rankings come out. Maybe UFC even decides to pit Daukaus against fellow rising contender Tom Aspinall, who scored a submission win over Andrei Arlovski earlier tonight (highlights HERE).
