Women’s flyweight prospect Casey O’Neill shined in her Octagon debut earlier tonight (Sat., Feb. 20, 2021) at UFC Vegas 19 live on ESPN+ from inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, when the Australian fighter finished veteran Shana Dobson via second-round TKO (punches).
Despite carrying a ton of hype with her entering her debut on ESPN+ there wasn’t much O’Neill did wrong against Dobson. She looked solid on the feet with crisp punches from range before closing the gap and implementing her heavy ground-and-pound. Dobson had no answer for the offense and the bout was eventually called in the second round.

O’Neill, 23, now pushes her undefeated MMA record to 6-0 with two of those wins coming by way of knockout. The young Australian prospect looked really good tonight against a tough fighter coming off a massive win (see it HERE) so it’s exciting to see what the newcomer can do heading deeper into 2021.
