The knockout finishes kept rolling in earlier tonight (Sat., Feb. 20, 2021) at UFC Vegas 19 live on ESPN+ from inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, as Canadian bantamweight Aiemann Zahabi finished promising newcomer Drako Rodriguez via first-round knockout (punch).
Zahabi started slow considering he hasn’t competed inside of the Octagon in nearly two years, but the Canadian fighter finally found his moment to shine and leveled Rodriguez with a monstrous right hand over the top. Rodriguez crumbled to the ground and Zahabi hit him with an insurance shot as the referee stepped in.

Rodriguez was supposed to shine on the feet in his UFC debut but it was Zahabi who did the most damage with his punches. Zahabi came into the UFC back in 2016 as a 6-0 prospect so it’s nice to see him get back on track after a 1-2 start with the promotion.
