Knockout! Watch Serghei Spivac steamroll Jared Vanderaa for bloody finish at UFC Vegas 19

Heavyweight contender Serghei Spivac sparked the action earlier tonight (Sat., Feb. 20, 2021) at UFC Vegas 19 live on ESPN+ from inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, with a dominant second-round TKO (punches) over prospect Jared Vanderaa on the “Prelims” undercard.

This was all Spivac from the opening bell as the more seasoned heavyweight closed the distance and quickly dragged Vanderaa to the canvas. Spivac would dominate Vanderaa with heavy top control, submission attempts, and a plethora of hard punches to the head.

Spivac’s efforts came full circle late into the second round when his ground-and-pound really started to bloody Vanderaa up. Vanderaa couldn’t defend or get back to his feet and the referee stepped in for the stoppage.

This victory now puts Spivac on a two-fight win streak in the unforgiving UFC heavyweight division. The 26-year-old contender has looked better each and every time he’s stepped inside of the Octagon so it will be interesting to see what he can do as he closes in on the division’s top 15.
