Ion Cutelaba will look to snap his two-fight skid — both against Magomed Ankalaev — when he faces off against Devin Clark at a scheduled Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Fight Night event set to go down on May 1, 2021 (location to be determined), according to a report from MMA DNA.
Cutelaba has had a rough stretch as of late, losing three of his last four bouts, including his aforementioned technical knockouts defeats to Ankalaev, as well as a submission loss to Glover Teixeira. Since 2019, the only win “The Hulk” has scored is a first round knockout over Khalil Rountree.
Clark, meanwhile, is coming off a first round submission loss at the hands of Anthony Smith. Prior to the defeat, he was on a two-fight win streak and 3-1 overall in his last four contests inside the Octagon.
The ESPN+-streamed event is set to be headlined by a Light Heavyweight showdown that will see Dominick Reyes take on Jiri Prochazka. In further action, Cub Swanson faces Gavin Tucker at Featherweight.
