The “Bad Boy” is back.

Former UFC bonus machine Leonard Garcia will make his return to combat sports atop the upcoming BKFC card on March 19 at Biloxi Civic Center in Mississippi. Garcia takes on lightweight “Hitman” Joe Elmore, winner of two straight.

Reggie Barnett Jr. battles former WBO champ DeMarcus Corley in the co-main event.

“Leonard Garcia against Joe Elmore is a true bad-blood match and perfect for our main event,” BKFC president David Feldman told MMA Junkie. “Both guys have wanted to fight each other for a long time and both have promised to finish the other in striking fashion. DeMarcus Corley is a former world champion boxer who has fought numerous big names over the last twenty years and surely will be tested by Reggie Barnett Jr. who is excited to welcome him to BKFC.”

Garcia is 1-1 under the BKFC banner.

It will be interesting to see if the promotion can capitalize on the attention it generated with the Paige VanZant-led fight card held earlier this month on PPV. “12 Gauge” lost a unanimous decision to the rough-and-tumble Britain Hart.
