Drakkar Klose will look to get back into the win column at UFC Vegas 19 on Feb. 20, 2021, in Las Vegas, Nevada, after having his three-fight win streak snapped by Beneil Dariush at UFC 248.

But, he won’t be doing it against Jai Herbert. That’s because Herbert has been forced out of the Lightweight match up for undisclosed reasons. That’s according to MMA Fighting, which also reported that Luis Pena will step in to take the fight on little more than one week’s notice.

Pena hasn’t competed since June 2020, suffering a third round submission loss to Khama Worthy, his second defeat in three outings inside the world-famous Octagon. “Violent Bob Ross” has had an up-and-down career inside the Octagon since winning The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 27, earning a 4-3 record to date. A win over Klose — who is 5-2 thus far under UFC’s umbrella — will go a long way in bumping up his stock.

UFC Vegas 19 will feature a much-anticipated Heavyweight match up between former title contender, Derrick Lewis, and wrestling powerhouse. Curtis Blaydes. Also on the card, Andrei Arlovski takes on Tom Aspinall, while Chris Daukaus battles Aleksei Oleinik in 265-pound action.
