Justin Gaethje won the war of lightweight kamikazes last night (Sat., Nov. 6, 2021) at UFC 268 live on ESPN+ PPV from inside Madison Square Garden in New York City, as “Highlight” outpointed Michael Chandler over the course of three insanely exhilarating rounds to earn the unanimous decision nod.

BLOCKBUSTER CHAMPIONSHIP DOUBLEHEADER! Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) International Fight Week returns to T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sat., July 2, 2022, capped by a stacked card headlined by a blockbuster championship double header. In UFC 276’s pay-per-view (PPV) main event, reigning Middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya, defends his crown against No. 2-ranked contender, Jared Cannonier. In the co-main event, Featherweight champion, Alexander Volkanovski, has his sights set on successfully defending his title once again against No. 1-seeded contender, Max Holloway, for the third (and likely final) time.

Don’t miss a single second of EPIC face-punching action!

Both lightweights came out firing as advertised and landed brutal leg kicks on one another. Chandler ended up catching Gaethje with some heavy power shots that wobbled the former title challenger. Gaethje returned the favor in Round 2 to knock Chandler to the canvas and nearly finish the fight. Chandler somehow recovered and the wild affair went into the third.

The final frame saw Chandler do his best zombie impression and stalk Gaethje down with last ditch power shots. Gaethje ate them and landed crisp punches in return that whipped Chandler’s head back. Chandler would also land a slamming takedown but it wasn’t enough to sway the judges.
