Video: Watch heated Kamaru Usman shove Colby Covington during UFC 268 presser staredown

The UFC 268 staredown got physical when Kamaru Usman pushed opponent Colby Covington during their face off,

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President, Dana White, had a scare after Welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman, shoved Colby Covington at the UFC 268 pre-fight press conference staredown this evening (watch full video replay here).

The promotion event, which took place inside Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York, N.Y., precedes UFC 268: “Usman vs. Covington 2,” which will go down inside the historic venue this weekend (Sat., Nov. 6, 2021), streaming online via ESPN+ pay-per-view (PPV).

CHAMPIONSHIP DOUBLEHEADER! Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to the world famous Madison Square Garden in New York City with a compelling pair of world championship rematches on Sat., Nov. 6, 2021. Headlining UFC 268’s blockbuster pay-per-view (PPV) will be Welterweight champion Kamaru Usman as he looks to defend his title once again against arch enemy and No. 1-ranked contender, Colby Covington. The co-main event will see UFC women’s Strawweight queenpin, Rose Najamunas, aim to make it two in a row against former champion and No. 1-seeded contender, Zhang Weili.

Usman was respectful early into the press conference; however, Covington immediately took shots at Usman’s family — particularly his father’s served prison time.

White stood between Usman and Covington when they faced off at the conclusion of the event, but “Nigerian Nightmare” proceeded to aggressively shove “Chaos.” The UFC boss elected a yelp in response.

It could have been worse ... way, way worse.
