UFC 268 ‘Embedded’ video (Ep. 2): Kamaru Usman takes private jet, Colby Covington walks

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is rolling out another round of “Embedded” pre-fight video blogs to help fans get amped for the UFC 268 pay-per-view (PPV) event this weekend (Sat., Nov. 6, 2021) inside Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The card is headlined by a UFC Welterweight title grudge match pitting champion Kamaru Usman vs. Colby Covington. One flies in a private jet, while the other takes a stroll through Central Park in Manhattan.

TWO TITLES UP FOR GRABS! Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) makes its highly anticipated return to Madison Square Garden in New York City on Sat., Nov. 11, 2023, with a re-worked pay-per-view (PPV) main card. In the ESPN+-streamed main event, former 205-pound roost-ruler, Jiri Prochazka, will lock horns with ex-Middleweight kingpin, Alex Pereira, for the promotion’s vacant Light Heavyweight title. In UFC 295’s co-main event, top-ranked Heavyweight contenders, Sergei Pavlovich (No. 2) and Tom Aspinall (No. 4), will collide for the interim strap after division champion, Jon Jones, was injured with a torn pectoral muscle and forced to withdraw (video).

A synopsis for ep. 2 of UFC 268 “Embedded” reads:

“Michael Chandler embraces the Florida heat, then packs for his trip. Justin Gaethje gets competitive in golf; teammate and champ Kamaru Usman takes Uno seriously. Champion Rose Namajunas reaps what she sows. Colby Covington hits Central Park.”

The co-main event of UFC 268 sees a rematch between UFC women’s Strawweight champion Namajunas and Zhang Weili. Other big bouts on the card include Justin Gaethje vs. Michael Chandler, Shane Burgos vs. Billy Quarantillo, Frankie Edgar vs. Marlon Vera and Al Iaquinta vs. Bobby Green, plus the UFC debut of former two-division GLORY kickboxing champion Alex Pereira.
