PFL live stream results, Harrison vs Guardado play-by-play updates

Professional Fighters League (PFL) concludes its 2021 season TONIGHT (Weds., Oct. 27) with a massive night of fights at PFL 10, which will feature six title bouts to go along with six $1 million checks to the winners. Headlining the card will be a women’s Lightweight title fight between division champion Kayla Harrison and top contender Taylor Guardado.

MMAmania.com will deliver LIVE results and real-time play-by-play coverage of the entire PFL 10 main card below, which begins at 8:00 p.m. ET on ESPN2 and ESPN+. We’ll also provide quick results for the “Prelims” undercard on ESPN+, which will start streaming at 4:30 p.m. ET.

In the PFL 10 co-main event, Welterweight champion Ray Cooper III — who won the 2018 season — will rematch Magomed Magomedkerimov, winner of the 2019 season. Also, boxing phenom Claressa Shields will return for her sophomore MMA fight against Mexican bruiser Abigail Montes to complement four more title fights.

155 lbs.: Kayla Harrison vs. Taylor Guardado - Harrison via second round submission

PFL 10 PLAY-BY-PLAY:

155 lbs.: Kayla Harrison vs. Taylor Guardado

Round 1: Quick takedown from Harrison. She takes Guardado’s back, she’s working for position landing shots to the side of the head. Now in side control. Guardado has no answer. Harrison postures and lands big shots from the top. Guardado manages to get back to her feet. Judo throw from Harrison and she is back in side control. Dominant round from the Olympian. 10-9 Harrison.

Round 2: Harrison gets another huge takedown. Bad position for Guardado. Ground-and-pound for Harrison. Guardado has no answer again. Shots to the side of the head for Harrison. She is angling for a submission. She sinks an armbar, it’s tight. Guardado has no other choice but to tap.

Final result: Harrison def. Guardado via second round submission (armbar)


170 lbs.: Ray Cooper III vs. Magomed Magomedkerimov

Round 1: They go to the center of the cage and there is a low blow early on from Magomedkerimov. They resume and Magomedkerimov gets the takedown. Now in guard. Not doing much at the moment with this position. The ref has seen enough and he stands them up. Low kick from Magomedkerimov. Nice strong jab from Cooper sends Magomedkerimov back to the fence. Stiff jab from Cooper and another. He is now stalking. Magomedkerimov is keeping him at bay with low kicks. 10-9 Magomedkerimov

Round 2: Cooper goes in for the takedown and Magomedkerimov tries to sink in a guillotine. He doesn’t have it. Cooper changes levels, picks up his foe and slams him down to the canvas. Cooper now in guard. Magomedkerimov firing off shots from top position. Looking for an armlock. Cooper trying to mount. Magomedkerimov tries to get up but Cooper pins him down and makes him eat a huge shot from top position. Cooper now has an arm-triangle. It’s tight! Magomedkerimov let’s it go. Cooper goes back to work and Magomedkerimov can’t find a way to get up. 10-9 Cooper

Round 3: Magomedkerimov tries to unload a huge uppercut but Cooper evades and uses the momentum to get the takedown. Magomedkerimov gets back up and tags Cooper with a stiff jab. Right hand from Magomedkerimov, then a left, then a huge knee to the body lands for Magomedkerimov. Magomedkerimov is really unloading bombs here and Cooper is eating them...for now. Cooper turns the tide, rocks Magomedkerimov with a huge right hand, then another and he drops Magomedkerimov and he is out after two more follow up shots! WOW! What a comeback from Cooper!

Final result: Cooper def. Magomedkerimov via third round knockout


155 lbs.: Claressa Shields vs. Abigail Montes

Round 1: Circling jabs from Shields. Montes keeps her at bay with low kicks. Claressa closes the distance and starts swinging for the fences before Montes grabs a hold of her. Action up against the feet. Montes reverses position and has Shields up against the fence. Not a ton of action here. Shields is trying to escape while Montes is looking for the takedown. Montes changes levels and Shields starts landing punches to the side of the head. They break and Montes lands a left hook as the round comes to an end. 10-9 Montes

Round 2: Montes is quick to go in for the takedown again and Shields is once again on the defensive mode. Montes isn’t doing much with the position, but Shields isn’t doing much either to escape. Shields separates and lands a nice shot to the body. She throws a looping overhand right and Montes capitalizes and takes her down. Not a good position for the pro boxer. Montes is in guard and she is looking for some ground-and-pound action. Shields works her way up to her feet. Montes still not letting go. Another round for Montes. 10-9 Montes

Round 3: Nice jab from Shields. Montes goes in for the takedown, Shields defends well. They separate. Shields looking for an opening, can’t find it. Montes is once again looking for the takedown and she gets it. Not a good position for Shields, who needs a knockout (or submission) to win this. Montes is obviously content with laying on top of Shields for as long as possible, she has had no answer for the grappling. Montes in half guard. She is now unloading. Mount. Ground and pound from Montes. Shields is defending for dear life as the round comes to an end. This one should be obvious. 10-9 Montes.

Final result: Montes def. Shields via split decision


265 lbs.: Bruno Cappelozza vs. Ante Delija

Round 1: Delija sprints in for the takedown and it’s stuffed. Cappelozza drops him with a right hand and is now in guard. Ground-and-pound. Cappelozza piling on the punishment. Delija is in danger. Bomb after bomb. Side control now. Cappelozza better not gas himself out here. More big shots from Cappelozza. Delija seems to have survived that initial onslaught. Side control for Cappelozza. Arm triangle attempt from Cappelozza. Delija escapes. They are swinging for the fences now and exchanging bombs! What a way to end the round. 10-9 Cappelozza.

Round 2: Delija goes in for the takedown and it is stuffed. They exchange knees up against the fence. They separated. Big right hands from Delija on the break. Uppercut lands for Delija and he takes Cappelozza down and starts dropping bombs! It looked like Cappelozza was out but he survives. Wow! Delija not letting up. In side control now. He tried an anaconda choke and Cappeozza slips out. He now has his back and is raining down punches on Delija. He is looking for a rear-naked choke. All Delija has to do is survive 20 seconds. Cappelozza is persistent but he doesn’t get it. 10-9 Delija

Round 3: Wild start to the third round as the two big men stand in the pocket and trade shots. Cappelozza gets the better of the exchange up against the cage. He now goes in for the takedown. Delija working hard to prevent getting taken down. Delija’s face is busted up. He isn’t backing down though. Cappelozza with powerful strikes that are making his foe back up. Double jab from Delija. Cappelozza slowing down a bit here. 10-9 Cappelozza

Round 4: Delija goes in for an early takedown and it is stuffed. That gives Cappelozza the position to take his back. Looking for a rear-naked choke, Delija defending well for now. Delija takes him down again. Now he is trying to drop some bombs. They are back to their feet. Delija with a nice jab, Cappelozza returns fire. Nice hook from Delija. He takes him down again and drops some elbows. Back to the feet. Cappellozza looks likes he is fading in the later rounds. 10-9 Delija.

Round 5: Cappellozza pushes Delija up against the cage and he lands the takedown. In guard now. Cappellozza with little rabbit punches to the side of the head. They are once again on the ground and Delija is on top. Back to their feet. Jab from Delija, then a hook. Cappelozza returns fire and he tags Delija. Cappelozza drags him back down. Both men look exhausted. I don’t think they expected this to go the distance...no one did. A little ground-and-pound action from Cappelozza but nothing major. 10-9 Cappelozza

Final result: Cappellozza def. Delija via unanimous decision


145 lbs.: Movlid Khaybulaev vs. Chris Wade

Round 1: One-two from Khaybulaev. Leg kick from Wade. Left hook from Wade. Stiff left hand from Khaybulaev. Khaybulaev changes levels and pushes Wade up against the cage. They scramble for a bit and they separate. Khaybulaev tags Wade with a huge right hand and goes in for the takedown. Back to their feet. Khaybulaev aggressive with his striking here, he’s landed several good shots. Khaybulaev takes him back down and he takes his back. Looking for a rear-naked hoke. Wade defending well so far. He’s out of danger as the round comes to an end. Dominant round for Movlid. 10-9 Khaybulaev

Round 2: Chris rushed in with a low kick. Khaybulaev returns fire. Movlid rushes Wade and pushes him up against the cage. Strong grappling from Khaybulaev. After a stalemate the referee separates them. Nice left lands for Wade, Khaybulaev returns fire with a hard right hand. His striking is on point tonight. Khaybulaev pushes Wade up against the cage. They are tussling for position against the age. Wade giving Khaybulaev all he can handle in that department. Knee to the face from Khaybulaev. Wade’s takedown is stuffed. Khaybulaev takes his back, doesn’t have time to work as round two ends. 10-9 Khaybulaev

Round 3: Khaybulaev goes in for the quick takedown and he gets it. Wade works his way back to his feet and starts to work some knees to the body. Khaybulaev returns fires with some of his own. Strong battle up against the cage. Foot stomps from Wade. The ref separates them. Khaybulaev goes in with a one-two combo that grazes Wade. Wade’s nose is a bit busted up. Khaybulaev takes his back again. He drags him down and starts unloading shots to the side of the head, looking for a rear-naked choke as the round comes to an end. 10-9 Khaybulaev

Round 4: Khaybulaev once again lands the takedown early. Hammer fists from top position. In guard now. He takes Wade’s back. Wade needs to do something here down three rounds. He gets up, tags his foe but gets taken down again for his efforts. Wade working his way up but gets taken down once again. There was not a ton of action this round, it was pretty much Khaybulaev dominating Wade on the ground, Rinse and repeat. 10-9 Khaybulaev

Round 5: Wade needs a knockout or a submission, he is clearly down four rounds. Once again Khaybulaev takes him down. Wade manages to get back up but he isn’t doing much here. Khaybulaev takes his back again. Knees to the thigh from the Dagestani. Khaybulaev drags him down and Wade is looking to trap his arm, but he can not. Khaybulaev takes Wade’s back yet again. Wade is exhausted. Khaybulaev takes him back down. Wade latches on to a knee, not sure what he’s trying to do with it because a knee bar doesn’t look likely. Khaybulaev is content with letting it ride out like this. Wade needs to get up. 10 seconds. Nothing doing for Wade and Khaybulaev will win this by a landslide. 10-9 Khaybulaev

Final result: Khaybulaev def. Wade via unanimous decision
