Alexander Hernandez ruined the Octagon debut of Mike Breeden earlier tonight (Sat., Oct. 2, 2021) at UFC Vegas 38 live on ESPN+ from inside UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, when “The Great” scored a nasty first-round knockout (punch).
Both lightweights came out swinging in a matchup to spark the ESPN+ main card. Breeden landed some solid leg kicks and a few punches inside before Hernandez stalked him down and unloaded precise power shots. One punch knocked Breeden’s mouthpiece out and as he was trying to put it back in Hernandez chased him down for more offense. One final right hand sent Breeden flying into the cage for the finish.
