UFC 257 ‘Embedded’ video (Ep. 3): ‘There will come a day when reporters stop calling’

Former Bellator MMA lightweight champion Michael Chandler will make his Octagon debut against battle-tested UFC veteran Dan Hooker in the UFC 257 pay-per-view (PPV) co-main event this Sat. night (Jan. 23, 2021) inside Etihad Arena on “Fight Island” in Abu Dhabi.

And “Iron” is one of the few combat sports athletes with an appreciation for the MMA media, because reporters and cameras mean people are interested in what he’s doing, leaving him with an overwhelming sense of gratitude.

“I just operate with a lot of gratitude for all of this,” Chandler said on Episode 3 of UFC 257 Embedded. “The fact that people are interested in what I’m doing is a very humbling experience, because there will come a day when the reporters stop calling. I definitely think about that. This is the right moment. This is the right stage.”
