UFC Vegas 11 injuries and medical suspensions for the athletes who competed at the “Covington vs Woodley”-led event this past weekend (Sat., Sept. 19, 2020) from inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, have been released by Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC).

Leading the way in mandatory sits is Tyron Woodley, who was tagged with a six-month suspension following his five-round drubbing at the hands of Colby Covington in the main event, which he lost via fifth round technical knockout. “The Chosen One” suffered a broken rib in the final frame, which will keep him out for the rest of the year and likely the first quarter of 2021.

  • Jerome Rivera suspended until 11/04/20, No contact until 10/20/20

Just a quick reminder: Fighters often return to action much quicker once doctors give them the green light. The lengthy suspensions are just a precaution in most cases. In addition, not all injuries are recorded during the post-fight examination and often times surface in follow-up tests.
